The Man in the High Castle written around 1960 won a Hugo
award for fiction in 1963. The Hugo awards are primarily known for science fiction, and the book somewhat fits the genre. The book concentrated on the intrigue of three axis powers, Germany, Japan and Italy splitting up America and wrestling for dominance.
The Amazon TV series ‘Man in the High Castle’ goes a step further, adding a Lost sort of time-travel, dream mixed with reality mysticism. Lost is still a popular DVD rental for binge watching.
